What we have done!

Ever since we first started on the on the 31st of March, 2013, we have aimed to transform the lives of at risk and socially vulnerable teenagers and children.

We currently offer over 200 children and teens a variety of workshops and extracurricular activities in the Cidade Julia neighborhood.

In 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic we helped over 200 families with regular donations of foodstuff and packaged meals.

Hi, I’m Josué from UNA.
Hi, I’m Josué Romano, husband to Cíntia, and our story started out here in the underprivileged neighborhood of Cidade Júlia. A beautiful place full of strong hardworking people, but with a great need for basic resources, a lot of poverty and surrounded by crime, trafficking and drugs.
Everyday we witness children’s and teen’s dreams being robbed from them, leaving them hopeless with an increasingly bleak future. We know what it's like, for we were once these kids too.
But we saw a new dawn. By the grace of Christ, we saw a renewed vision for our future. This is what guides us still to live every day, every drop of sweat and much love is dedicated to bringing hope and A New Dawn (Um Novo Amanhcer) to every child we meet.

We aim to consistently offer free extracuricular activities to 200 children and teens every month, besides providing all the materials and classes for free we also offer snacks and drinks to our students.

This costs around USD 60 a month per student.
